We wandered over to Ueno Park - and found a zoo... a surprisingly well stock zoo at that although it did seem that many of the cages were small by modern standards (the last zoo I saw was in Wellington where they'd removed the large animal exhibits because it was too cruel to keep them in confined spaces).
This is a very smelly rhino... but aren't they all?
