No trip to NYC is complete without a trip to the top of a skyscraper. We chose to see the view from the Empire State Building, and were delighted to find the place pretty much deserted. We'd heard all sorts of horror stories about three-hour queues, so bought our tickets online. When we arrived, we just walked in and took the elevator straight to the observation deck. Good timing on our part, for sure!
