We took a ride on the Fox & Franz Helicopter to see the glacier from above - we got a better deal than expected and saw Franz Josef, Fox and the Tasman glaciers; plus we circumnavigated Mount Cook and got a walk on the glacier on the way back :) In this picture the chopper was refuelling before our flight.
