The exhibit was unusual in that everything on display were *replicas* of the objects found in Tutenkhamun's tomb created by Egyptian craftsmen using authentic tools apparently. Because none of the pieces were particularly valuable, they weren't all hidden away behind ropes and glass cases, so you could really get up close for a good look. (It'll be a very different story when we go and see the originals in Egypt, I bet!)
