A statue of Anne Frank the little Jewish girl who hid from the Nazis for two years and wrote a diary about the experience. We visited the attic where she hid. The whole story is very sad - she died of typhus in Bergen-Belsen shortly before the war ended. Her father, the sole surviver of the family, had Anne's diary published in 1947.
